Costa de la Luz (Coast of Light) is the south-western coast of Spain,
generally beginning at Tarifa heading up to the border with Portugal. This part
of Spain is known for its beauty and unspoilt coastline, along with an ancient
Arab history. The coast is not as crowded as its neighbouring Costa del Sol.

El Rompido Golf Club is located in the province
of Huelva in western Andalusia, very convenient

splendid views of the Atlantic Ocean, and a pleasant
stroll around the two 18 hole courses offering

border, on the beautiful Algarve. Using these courses means that
we can easily include Portuguese golf with your holiday package.
These magnificent 18 hole courses are a test for any golfer and
some of the tees present an exceptional challenge. The beauty of
these courses is also something to behold. Located in the heart
of a protected landscape, the courses are dotted with centuries
old olive and carob trees and have views to the mountains and sea. Designed
by Rocky Roquemore and opened in July 2002, the courses have a driving
range, putting green, clubhouse, equipment hire and pro-shop.

This course is
endorsing its growing reputation for its player enjoyment and with the
recent improvement of the access from the "Via de Infante" to Tavira
this makes the whole area much quicker to reach. The course is laid
out on mainly undulating land the course offers pleasant views both to
the Atlantic Ocean and the hills of the Serra do Caldeirão. Players
accuracy is particularly called upon by the architects retention of as
many of the old trees as feasible. These natural obstacles coupled
with strategic placed bunkers and occasional water hazards make the
course a worthwhile challenge. |
